Do You Allow Pets?
House-trained pets are welcome in the studio. Please schedule enough time during your reservation to throughly clean up after yourself and your clients.
Why Is There An Additional Fee For Seamless Paper?
If you've ever bought seamless paper, you know it's very expensive. To keep our paper fresh for every rental, we do charge $30 per color. This is a pass-through charge to help us offset the cost of paper and maintaining the backdrop system. Our paper rolls are locked to prevent misuse.
Are Cake Smashes Allowed?
Absolutely. I only ask that you please clean up after yourself and your clients thoroughly. There are cleaning supplies in the studio for your use! If you're using seamless paper, please cut any paper that's been used for the cake smash.

What Time Of Day Is The Lighting Best?
The natural light in The West Room is warm and even most of the day. If you love direct sunlight that casts shadows through the windows, that begins a few hours before sunset. Most of our windows face West, so we get beautiful evening light.
What Is Your Pricing?
We really try to keep things as simple as possible. We offer the same competitive pricing on weekdays, weekends and holidays.
Our hourly rate is $50. If you book four or more consecutive hours, there is a discounted rate of $40 per hour. Seamless paper is an additional charge of
$30 per color.
How Much Additional Time Do I Get To Set-Up & Clean Up?
Your access to the studio begins and ends with your rental time. Please plan additional time accordingly when you're making your reservation. It is your responsibility to have enough time to reset the space before you leave. If there is an emergency and you need to extend your rental, please reach out to us.
What Is Your Cancellation Policy?
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Any cancellations within 24-hours of the start of your rental will be charged in full. If you need to modify a reservation, please use the link in your confirmation email.
How Do I Use The Seamless Paper System?
Our wall-mounted system is very user friendly. You'll learn how to use the system in-person during your studio tour. I also recorded a quick video for you to reference, which you can watch here.
Yes. A tour is a non-negotiable. The West Room is unique, as it's nestled on our home property. To preserve the integrity of the space and the experience it offers, in-person tours are required prior to reserving the space. Tours are thoughtfully offered in small group settings; virtual tours are not currently available. To ensure a seamless experience, I encourage you to plan ahead, as studio access is made available only after a completed tour and signed rental agreement. You can join an upcoming tour here.

We are located in the heart of West Michigan, Holland. Our address can actually be a little deceiving, as we aren't directly on the lakeshore. We are just South of Drenthe, on the corner of
147th Ave. and 40th St. — close
to Hudsonville and Zeeland.
If you're having trouble finding us, search "The West Room" in your maps. We're currently on Google and Apple Maps.

Out of respect for our current renters and the safety of my family, I will need to ask you to wait to schedule a reservation with us until you can join a group tour. I offer tours on different days and times, to try to best accommodate everyone. I encourage you to keep checking back to find a time that will work well for your schedule!
